Self-contained private annex with lounge/small food prep area and separate bedroom wirh en suite/electric shower and walk-in cupboard. Lounge has ethernet/ WiFi and 43” 4K Smart TV with Netflix. Coffee machine/milk frother, fridge, microwave, toaster, portable hob and kettle. Tea/coffee, porridge and cereal provided. Snacks left on arrival - pastry/ biscuits, fruit and dairy items. Private entrance/keylock garden/patio. On longer stays washing/drying of small amounts of clothing.

Please note that this is my home, no parties/events are permitted. 10 mins away from the WHW in Milngavie & popular hill walking routes close by. 10mins to Mugdock country park. 30min drive to Loch Lomond.

The Roundhouse, Upper Woodburn

The Roundhouse is situated in extensive woodlands and on the edge of open countryside. Built in 2018, it is finished to a high specification with wood-burning stove and big windows with views of the Campsie Hills and open countryside. The Roundhouse is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Bute & Arran and is really close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There are two other cottages on site which, when booked together offer accommodation for 14.

There is a shopping centre 5 minutes drive away and the village of Torrance 2 minutes drive away has pubs a supermarket, hairdresser and pharmacy as well as two take aways.
