Luxury Glamping Pods with Panoramic Views

Based on the edge of the beautiful Lake District with commanding panoramic views of the Western Fells , here at Wellington Farm Glamping Breaks our 6 pods are fully fitted with electrics, heating, lighting, an ensuite and kitchenette. Our pods sleep 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). We provide all bedding and towels for your stay. We've even gone the extra mile by installing 7ft hydrotherapy hot tubs at each of our pods which allows our guests to fully appreciate the panoramic views of the fells.

The Yurt at Craignee is a snug (but surprisingly spacious), off-grid retreat, with wood burner and garden, surrounded by peace and wildlife. Glamp in a garden, rural SW Scotland

Deluxe glamping pod in private garden in rural South West Scotland. No noisy campsite interference. Children welcome but need supervision in garden as we have a pond and stream. Double bed, small Sofabed, bedding/towels, shower, toilet, hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, table, stools. TV, Wi-fi. Patio table/chairs, BBQ/firepit. Washing machine. Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Barmoffity Shepherd's Hut

Our off-grid Shepherd's Hut offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of a working farm. Set on the banks of Loch Patrick in SW Scotland, our shepherds hut sleeps two, has a wood burning stove and beautiful views. Our eco-friendly hut offers an opportunity to completely switch off and enjoy a slower pace of life. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the decking, star gazing at the fire pit or while away the days watching the wildlife, you will not be disappointed by the tranquillity of our location.

The Wren's Nest

Next to our wood drying store, hidden away down a private track, this peaceful, secluded "tiny house" has outstanding views of hills and sky. Great for an escape from the world, or for walking and cycling. Or just enjoy the total peace and quiet, and dark skies at night. Facilities: adult size camping bunk beds, small kitchen, electric heater, shower, outdoor seating area and "civilised" composting loo. No wifi/phone signal. Separate summer camping available at small extra charge.

Rural retreat with fabulous panoramic views

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Wigtown, Beautiful solar powered Yurt

Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 . The chemical free, DIY hottub is very private and for the exclusive use of our guests, only available for bookings of 3 nights or longer
