Walk out the back door and enjoy a multitude of things to do including mountain biking, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and much more. Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture (plus a bunkhouse). This cabin is set on beautiful Basswood Lake in Bayfield County, WI. The cabin faces West and offers beautiful sunsets. This lake has some of the best fishing around for panfish, bass, and pike. Right off the driveway is hundreds of miles of four wheeler, UTV, and snowmobile trails. The land is up against National Forest land that has some of the best hunting opportunities. There are many destinations a short drive away. True "up north" living. Please, no cats. We're allergic to them.

As you head north to Wisconsin and Lake Superior you are surrounded by the silence of the forest. You can relax , away from the bustle of everyday life. The famous Bois Brule River is a short walk down the hill. We are just an hour from the Apostle Islands, Bayfield, Hayward, Ashland, Wi or Duluth, Mn. Our cabin is very quiet. We are on 3 wooded acres. Our place is a cabin. Not a house. We aren't fancy but comfortable. Get set for a beautiful peaceful time in the pines.
