Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

In summer you'll enjoy the private patio surrounded by gardens. On cool fall nights you'll want to gather by the fire-pit. In winter, you'll escape the snow in the warm living room lit by the fire-place. In all seasons, you'll gather in the fully updated white granite kitchen to cook and share stories of your day.

A small rural town with simple amenities is a half mile away or larger cities just 20+ miles away with outdoor activities galore. Our 80-foot bridge to a private island on a pond is a perfect setting to read a book or play cards with some friends. Our unique custom basement bar and surrounding intimate spaces will keep you at ease.

Beautiful house in the woods!

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

You will be staying only 15 minutes from Canal Park and Sprit Mountain ski hill, two of Duluth’s most popular destinations! Only 8 miles from the Duluth Heritage Sports Center.

Retreat to this secluded cabin, resting on a hill along the Knife River nestled in 15 acres. You'll be met with a spacious, yet cozy environment with a bedroom and a separate loft area. The cabin features a sauna, a beautiful stone shower, two bathrooms and a tub. The south side of the land runs along the knife river with an overlook, perfect for the sunrise. The land is yours to explore. We have fallen in love with this space, and we truly hope you do too.

Spacious vacation space!

Come enjoy our vacation rental! We're in a great neighborhood - close to Duluth's Spirit Mountain skiing & biking, the retail district, and lots of things to do and see! The apartment has a large living room, huge deck, full kitchen, full bath, and two separate bedrooms. This is the upper unit in the building. As such, this isn't an appropriate space for anyone with little kids that run around - as it would detract from the experience for the guests below.
