Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for two people or solo adventurers.Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a spot for kpods.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. 1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Murph's: Cozy 3BR/2BA cabin w/ hot tub + fireplace

Murph's Hideaway is a log cabin located high on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River valley. This three-bedroom/two-bathroom property features a full kitchen and living room, finished basement, a large deck, charcoal grill (you supply the charcoal and lighter fluid) and hot tub! Enjoy the spectacular sunsets, hike the woods and relax by the gas fireplace. - Our hot tubs operate year-round - Pets are allowed, but must be preapproved, and there is a separate, nonrefundable pet fee

You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind. Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien and Ferryville, this cabin gets you about 5 minutes from the river but allows you the serenity of being tucked away in the trees.

Maple Ridge Guest Apartment

This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 5 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.
