End your evening in a rocking chair, admiring the endless stars. Longhorns wander our pastures, and you share the location with an abundance of wildlife!

Shady V Ranch Cabin- Castell, Texas

The Shady V Ranch cabin is located 2 miles east of Castell on about 100 acres. Breathe the fresh, clean, crisp air. Now get ready to enjoy some fun time "UNPLUGGED". Cell service is limited and there is NO wifi provided on the property. This ranch has been in my family for over 100 years. My Grandfather (Henry Hasse) first bought the land in the early 1900's. We are excited to be able to share part of the Texas Hill Country and the beautiful Llano River. We hope you enjoy your stay!

“El Castell” on the Llano River (Cabin B)

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Hill Country at "El Castell". Nestled along the banks of the spring-fed Llano River we provide 4 cabins which serve as the perfect get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of city life, or home base to explore the outdoors. Located across the street from the charming Castell General Store where you can enjoy great beers and one of the best burgers in Texas! River swims, area hikes, fly fishing, hunting for topaz, llanite, quartz, exploring country towns await!

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck.
