The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

Enter The Old Chapel, a labor of love renovation resulting in a charming three-bedroom, all-ensuite stay unlike any other. Perfect for short getaways or week-long stays. Enjoy peaceful nights in king-sized beds fitted with luxurious 500-thread-count sheets. Each en-suite features spacious dual showers, fluffy robes, and slippers for ultimate relaxation.

Idyllic, The Coach House, Ashford-in-the-Water

This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. *Please note - bathroom refurbishment (completed 1st March 2026) The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but no longer a separate shower.

The Burrows garden flat in central Buxton

The Burrows is a self-contained garden flat tucked away on a private back road in the heart of Buxton. It has its own private entrance and garden (5 steps down) with an off-road parking space for a small car. A deceptively spacious bolthole the flat has one large bedroom with a kingsize bed, bathroom with bath and shower, a library and study area, a light and airy living room, and a recently upgraded kitchen. The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Extensively refurbished in Spring 2021 this first floor apartment offers bright and spacious accommodation with all bedrooms having en-suite shower facilities. The lounge opens onto a private patio area, ideal for eating alfresco. The property is situated just off the attractive market square of Tideswell, known as the "Cathedral of the Peaks". "The Barn” at Stoop Farm
