You'll find us tucked in the quiet woods of northern WI near the Brule River. We're remote enough to experience star-filled skies & fireflies, but not far from many premier attractions. Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. It features a private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette, lower level private deck, access our beautiful grounds & more! Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor wood burning fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. You'll see birds at the feeder right outside your window, plus plenty of deer and eagles right out the front window. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Modern, rustic, Aframe cabin on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, new appliances, glass stove top, airfryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King-size bed in the loft area. Smart TV, wifi. Books, games, bluetooth speaker The woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is also a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Borealis Cottage sits on a 2-acre, private, wooded lot in the sustainably designed Sawgrass Community of Cornucopia. Light-filled cottage with open floor plan includes a sleeping loft, screened porch, gas fireplace, and fully-equipped kitchen. A quick, quiet walk from the cottage takes you to a private wooded path with access to Cornucopia Beach on Siskiwit Bay. Explore the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore--our cottage is located 4 miles from Meyers Beach and 20 miles from Bayfield.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

The Cornucopia Sweet Retreat is a unique open concept living space above Corny Coffee in Cornucopia, Wisconsin. We are just steps from Lake Superior and the Cornucopia beach shops. Lost Creek Adventures is across the street and offers guided kayak tours to the sea caves, and Ehlers grocery store has wonderful deli sandwiches and salads. We are located 20 minutes from Bayfield, Wisconsin and the ferry to Madeline Island. The Cornucopia Sweet Retreat is a no smoking / no pet space.

NOTE: During the winter, the three-season porch section of the cottage will very likely be too cold to utilize.
