It is cosy and comfortable, fully equipped with everything you will need for the prefect stay. It is ideally situated to explore the Lake District .There are great walks from the cottage without even moving your car

It's a great base to explore the fells, enjoy the delights of Ambleside (less than 5 min walk to the high street), & then to hide away in front of a wood fire.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
