Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the next stairs is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! Deer View Cabin is the perfect secluded getaway to spend your time relaxing in the hot tub or sit listening to the rain on the tin roof in a rocking chair on our beautiful porch. Inside you can unwind in comfy chairs beside a cosy stove whilst you look out onto woodland & wildlife. If you like walking we have beautiful off road walks to the quiet beach of Grimston (25 min walk) or around St Michael’s woods, bring appropriate footwear. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

A perfect base for exploring East Coast towns; Bridlington and Scarborough etc.

The cottage has a spacious outdoor area with a BBQ and fire pit. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk into town, shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Beach access very close.

The cottage has a lovely living area running from front to back comprising of a fitted kitchen with quartz countertops, dining & lounge area. The french doors & glass Juliet balcony allow unrestricted views across the sand below, harbour & out to sea. 4 guests max, no pets, no parties (requested quite time 10pm-7am) There is no parking in this area & cottage is unsuitable for children under 10 years old

The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.
