Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

The Possum Pad

Please be assured extra cleaning is being done under the Air BNB guide lines. In beautiful Yungaburra village. The Possum Pad is a villa sharing half an acre with a house. You have your own private drive and full use of the garden. Quiet treed setting with plenty of parking. Costing is $190 per night for the first two guests, sleeping in the same bedroom. An extra $50 cleaning fee will be charged if the two guests use two bedrooms. Then $90 per each extra guests per night.

The Canopy

There are 4 bedrooms all opening onto the front timber deck, overlooking the pool and rainforest! Fully air-conditioned. Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.
