Newly renovated two bedroom apartment in historic North Woodstock home. Built in 1917 “Grumblenot” has been enjoyed as a basecamp for fun in the White mountains for over a century. Located a half mile from the restaurants and shops in downtown North Woodstock, 4 miles to Loon, 10 miles to Cannon and across the street from one of the most popular swim spots on the Pemi. A short walk through the garden brings guests to this backyard yurt which was handcrafted on a New Hampshire family farm out of many species of local saplings. The handmade door and large skylight let in lots of natural light; you'll rise and set with the sun and watch the stars from the full-size bed. Two small single-sized floor mattresses fold up to make low chairs. A counter, fridge, and sink allow guests to make simple meals.
