The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! (2xAdults & 2xKids under 12)

Ziggysriver cottage (Rc) is heaven on earth.

Spoil yourself in our well equipped private ,peaceful Ziggysriver cottage on the banks of the Magalies River. Plenty of birdlife plus the resident Finfoot. Wake up to the sounds of nature and explore the trail of +-9 km , walking, cycling or birding. Visit Sterkfontein Caves and the Maropeng World Heritage Site in the Cradle of Humankind. Enjoy a dip in the cold water splash pool on a hot summers day ( Note the splash pool is closed from 30 April- 30 September) or sit by the open fire .

Kwa n'Jala and Spa

Neighbouring the Lion and Safari Park and situated within a nature reserve area, Kwa n'Jala has an out of Africa rustic theme with a touch of comfort. Kwa nJala now offers luxurious Spa Treatments with highly qualified therapists and essential oil based products. You should hear the lions roar as well as the drums from Lesedi Cultural Village in the evening. Kwa n'Jala is situated between Lanseria Airport and Hartbeesport Dam. The cottage has basic self-catering and braai facilities.

Tiny Container Home 6m

The container is 6m in length, bachelor size. Double bed with loads of storage space. Full kitchen & bar fridge. Fairy lights at night to add to that romantic vibe, a nice little braai space to make your dinner. Relax and stream various channels. Solar powered so no load shedding. While you will be self-catering and given ample space and privacy, we're only one call away to make sure everything's okay. It is a quiet place, no loud music etc allowed. Please respect the peace.

River House at Utopia

Welcome to our comfortable off-the-grid self catering cabin nestled in the heart of the Magaliesburg mountains. Spend a peaceful retreat in a globally awarded UNESCO biosphere next to the Upper Tonquani Gorge. Relax with your feet in the Sterkstroom river that is situated less than 50 metres away from the cabin. Whether you seek adventure or simply want to relax, our location offers a plethora of activities to delight in, both within our estate and the surrounding areas.

'River on my stoep'

'River on my stoep' is a well equipped self-catering cottage in the Hekpoort Valley. The wooden cabin is on the Magalies River and is surrounded by the sounds of nature - the haunting cry of a jackal and a chorus of frogs is our music at night. One of the few places that you can still see fire flies at night (in summer) A rowing boat is moored in front of the cottage, exclusively for our guests. 'Catch-and-release' fishing is permitted.

The Green Door Cottage

A warm and cozy unit, home away from home. This is a spacious two bedroomed cottage with a parking and a garden. There is an open plan kitchen/living room and dining area. There's also a dedicated work space with a desk. We also have a braai stand for those that want the good old South African braai on a sunny day 😃
