We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. Reato House--Cozy comfort away from home, HOT TUB!

This house is a comfy, cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house built in the early 1900's and recently updated. It is in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Deadwood. It is close to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, sightseeing and fishing in the summer. The deck overlooking Lead offers a space in the sun or a covered portion for shade. Four person hot tub and fireplace makes the end of day so relaxing! Be aware, there are 32 stairs from street to house. Trailer parking available.

It sits alone on the edge of a meadow with hills directly behind it and a small, bubbly creek in front of the house. The Viewhouse is part of Hinterwood Inn & Cabins and sleeps up to 8 people. It has 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and full private bathroom, then the living room has a daybed/trundle (two twin mattresses) for additional sleeping. Enjoy a full kitchen with provided essentials, and a private deck and fire pit area with a gas grill. It has two levels, so requires the use of stairs. You will love the views, animal sightings, and hiking right from your front door.
