Whether reading, swimming, fishing, hiking or lounging, The Post is a perfect home away from home to make memories and connect with loved ones

Tranquility on Eagle Lake

Just steps from the water's edge, this a-frame cottage is nestled into a private cove on the picturesque Eagle Lake in the Almaguin Highlands. Our family's cherished space is available for families or couples (maximum 4 adults) to rest and rejuvenate. There is a Queen bed in one bedroom and a bunkbed in the other bedroom. However, a unique loft will offer the best view of the morning sunrise with a queen bed there too. A peddle boat and two kayaks with life jackets are included in the rental.

We have created a warm, open concept space with a boho-scandinavian aesthetic inside and rustic amenities outdoors. It is the perfect place to enjoy the simple pleasure of being in nature but with all the modern conveniences so you really don't have to rough it too hard.Sunset View is a true glamping experience with all the comforts of home. Recharge your nature batteries in our off grid pod that comes fully equipped for your basic needs and right on Wasi Lake. Steps away you can enjoy canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Take in the sunsets, walk the trails, nap in the hammock, roast some marshmallows, paint a picture, read a book, listen to the birds, the trees, the wind. Leave connected, peaceful and rejuvenated.

We are equipped with baby gear to make things easier for little ones. The lake has direct access to OFSC trails. Ask about snowmobile arrival packages. Or ice fishing amenities.

Boat rental is available, park at the local trailer park's marina across the bay to launch your own means of transportation or have our staff bring you to your island!
