Nestled in the Southwest Hills of Portland this lovely apartment provides a sanctuary away from the bustle of the city, yet is minutes from all that downtown Portland has to offer! 900 sq. ft., 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment furnished with mix of mid-century modern and classic modern appointments. Art, all original, includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, and folk art collected from around the world. Flat screen Smart TV with surround sound, cable TV, and access to Netflix and Pandora. Wi-Fi available throughout apartment. Living room includes wood burning fireplace and desk. Bedrooms connected by large sliding doors making each a private room, or if left open, a sitting room and bedroom. Queen sized bed in master, and a full sized futon couch with an innerspring mattress in the second bedroom. Bathroom newly remodeled, double sinks and a wonderful large shower with two shower heads. All linens and bedding new. Large deck off the living room with SW exposure over looks private wooded area perfect for relaxing or dining. The apartment is clean and cozy with a private entrance located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment shares a common wall with the main house with doors that separate the space and remained locked. It offers a stocked kitchen, cable tv, dvd player and wifi with a comfortable seating area for reading by the fireplace or watching tv. The bathroom is spacious with an extra large shower. The bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and dresser. Driveway and street parking available.

We are 7 minutes from the Nike Headquarters, 2 minutes from Columbia Sportswear Headquarters, and 15 minutes from Intel, making it a perfect stay for your business needs. We are within walking distance to a grocery store, pubs, small restaurants, and the Saturday Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

A River (stream) Runs Through It

Okay, well, it's a stream, but it's all yours to enjoy. For the nature lovers we have deer, beavers, ducks, nutria, fish, etc. (think wetlands). For everyone, the house (duplex) is fully equipped with a fireplace, hot tub central gas heat and central AC. This is a bright, clean and cozy space to land for folks who love the suburbs (not in the city city but we are close drive to the city center) but want to be surrounded by nature. With ambient noise from the creek and highway.

Stonehaven is a unique Artsy home in the forested West Hills 6 miles from downtown Portland. Perfect for family and friends traveling together. Sleeps up to 15 with 6 bedrooms, 10 beds & 3 baths. Host lives on premises. Not a party house. Please note that the February wind and ice storms destroyed the back yard pond. The back porch is still usable, but has the "beauty" of the destruction of nature and not the beauty of the hard work of creating an elegant landscaped pond.
