Just a few minutes from the town of Bude and its beaches, pubs & restaurants, the south west coast path, this rural cabin with its sea view from the garden, remains secluded in. a quiet corner of the meadow, with all amenities & footpaths close by.

Quiet, peaceful & private Shepherds hut and cabin set in its own area of land on a farm, in beautiful landscape 1 mile from the charming and characterful village of Chagford, which has most amenities. Ideal for a relaxing retreat in nature, cosy and warm. Next to the hut is a cabin containing kitchen facilities, shower, washbasin, and seperate compost loo. Space for additional tent or camper van. Lots to do nearby, such as Scorhill stone circle, Fernworthy resevoir, walks in stunning landscape.

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

Just 20-minute drive of Okehampton, historic Tavistock and Launceston and a 40-minute drive from much-loved Bude beach. The Hide is set on 8 acres with a 6-man hot tub (booked separately).

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.
