Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Our home is set on Dartmoor National Park surrounded by some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. The house is light and spacious with a well kept garden overlooking beautiful Dartmoor. Plenty of parking as well. There are many different walks straight from our doorstep, and many cycle routes. Ten minute drive away is Tavistock an ancient pannier market town. Five minutes walk to the local pub. So many Devon attractions within driving distance and about an hour to Devon and Cornish coasts.

Full of character, our pretty converted stable block offers luxurious self-contained accommodation for a couple seeking a romantic getaway or those wanting to find some solitude away from the hustle and bustle. The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Unwind in this former village church, tastefully decorated & equipped with everything you'll need to relax in this rural peaceful corner of Devon. Soak in your own private hot tub, or chill on the raised decking area watching the sheep graze & the sun set, whilst listening to your favourite music on the outdoor speakers connected to Sonos. Play it loud, there's no neighbours for 1km in any direction (except sheep!). YOU WILL BE THE ONLY GUESTS AT THE CHURCH - total privacy

The Barn, Soussons Farm, a cosy welcoming space to use as a base for exploring Dartmoor, surrounded by beautiful open space with numerous bridle paths and footpaths right on your door step. It's a converted granite barn with open plan living room with woodburner and kitchen upstairs. Two comfy bedrooms downstairs. Bathroom with roomy shower. No mobile signal but broadband, and WiFi calling. Well behaved dogs welcome for a fee payable before arrival.
