Cozy Mountain Home w/Million $ View

Privacy, awesome views of Trapp Family Lodge and Stowe Mountain Resort. 5 min drive to town and 10 min to ski area. Home to famous visiting musicians thru the years including the recording of Phish's " Story of the Ghost ". Family or a group love it! My home offers a great open space to relax in front of the fire and enjoy the company of friends and/or family. It easily accommodates a lot of people. The entire house is for rent although less is open for discussion as well, just ask. I stay in an apartment next door so am readily available should anyone have a question. In the winter it is best to have snow tires or four wheel drive to access the property. I am around however to assist if you need help getting up the hill. The road and driveway are both maintained very well but this is Vermont and we get a lot of snow!

Perfect for entertaining and family gatherings, the open living room, kitchen, and dining room offer lots of seating. In summer and fall, open the doors to expansive decks with an outdoor dining table, couch, and hammock, or enjoy a fire in the backyard.

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal w/ toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater & small fridge We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is near Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby with skiing, hiking and biking too.

The open floor plan allows you to be in the new kitchen while still enjoying the real fireplace. Also located on the first floor is a full bath and spacious bdrm. Upstairs is where you’ll find the master with full bath. There is a large deck and fire pit which is great for just hanging out. All this and easy access to the Mountain Road shuttle.

Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

7 Bedroom/5.5 Bath House Near Stowe

Hunger Mountain Guest House is minutes away from Vermont’s best attractions! The house was a former B&B and now a self-contained vacation rental. It is a great deal for large groups in the Waterbury-Stowe area, and sleeps up to 15. There are 7 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, & fully equipped kitchen. We allow up to two dogs (no cats), but please let us know beforehand. $75 per dog fee charged. Sorry, no events beyond 25 people (including guests staying in house)
