The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Soak in serenity, visit nearby wineries, go antiquing and of course canoe, kayak, or float down the river, or simply sit on the bank and listen to the water rush by. Walk through our wooded lot and you will see deer, squirrels, and Willy, our resident grandaddy groundhog (he loves apples if you want to bring him a treat.)

This Shenandoah gem is the closest rental to the entrance of the famous 105 mile Skyline Drive that runs through Shenandoah National Park! This spacious and comfortable log cabin includes an open-concept living area and kitchen, AMAZING outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, expansive lower level game room, screened porch and hot tub!
