Cabin is at the back of our garden - all for yourselves ;-)) Location is ideal for RVC or FILM INDUSTRY ROLES On the warm days you can enjoy the water fountain, pond and our friendly dog & cats The access is via our house where you can meet myself, my kids, my friends or our other guests staying in the main house ;-)) It does have a nano kitchenette/it is very basic- not suitable for proper cooking ;-)) No smoking indoors Free parking nearby A train line not far behind the cabin-can be heard

The Byre at Cold Christmas

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Tawney Lodge is beautifully decorated countryside retreat with a kitchen, wet room, relaxing sitting room and huge bedroom with a king size bed. All rooms overlooking stunning countryside. We back onto Ongar Park Woods which joins to Epping Forest making a wonderful walk into Epping. It is located 2 miles from Epping and ideally located for people attending weddings at Gaynes Park, Blake Hall and Mulberry House. Epping tube station (central line) is under five minutes drive.

The Barn

A unique and tranquil country escape an hour's drive from London. Relax and unwind, gather with friends and family or explore the endless country walks and roman road on our doorstep. The Barn is set on its own plot of land next to the main house with a large fenced garden, patio area with BBQ and a horse field a few metres away to gaze out onto. A characterful building but totally refurbished and offering a contemporary escape with all the amenities you would expect at home.

There are numerous country walks just a few steps from the lodge, one of which leads to the River Stort (15min walk) from where you can carry on exploring miles of river walkways.
