Park and hike a few hundred yards, in the winter time, into this off-the-grid cabin, or drive during seasonable acceptable weather with all-terrain or 4-wheel drive to the cabin. It is located on a 120-acre property with an epic view on a butte overlooking the Catherine Creek drainage below, wetlands, and Eagle Cap wilderness with abundant game on the property of all types. While off the grid it features refigerator, freezer, stove, oven, water, toilet, sinks with water, several beds, & stove!

The Wallowa Lake Chalets are situated between Wallowa Lake and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. These Chalets have an open floor plan and were designed to encapsulate the natural surrounding beauty. The decks of the Chalets stand 26 ft above the ground creating some of the most surreal views that can be found anywhere in Wallowa County. You will be staying on a working ranch with 750 square feet of your own private space. This space is great for a getaway that includes up to six people. It includes two bedrooms, private bath, and open space with futon. The kitchen space is limited. You will have your own entrance and outdoor space allowing you a place to hang out while enjoying the million-dollar view with no extra charge! Our family has been in Wallowa County since 1876 and you will soon see why we are here.

Eastern Oregon University (La Grande) 17 miles, Anthony Lake 47 miles, Wallowa Lake 84 miles, Moss Springs trail head 11 miles (Minam Lodge).

This home is perfect for the adventurers, the small families, the reconnecting couples! Close enough to walk to the resort side activities at Wallowa Lake but tucked back for privacy, relaxation and enjoyment of being in the woods!
