A self-contained Suite, adjoined to our newly built home on our 4th generation farm, with your own entrance. Perfect to base yourself here for 3 or 4 daysto see the wildlife and sights of the Catlins. The stars and galaxies are spectacular to view from your bed and sunrises. This is a new home. It has all of the Invercargill City Council requirements and more. This home is cosy and warm. Well ventiated. 4 sliding doors and lots of opening windows. 2 outside areas to sit in. Sky Sports. This is a non smoking home. There are areas outside for smoking. We have security cameras which are in use when the home is empty. These are located outside. We do advise that you read the blue folder under the tv, the instrustions for the oven as well as the password for the wifi

Gypsy Wagon, Curio Bay, Catlins.

Fully self contained gypsy wagon located close to beach of Porpoise Bay. No ocean views but beach is 2min walk. Super king size luxury bed. Very tidy inside. Cooking facilities. Log burner with wood supplied. Outdoor BBQ. Linen/towels included. This accommodation is located on our property beside our house. The toilet/shower room (converted water tank) is located 9 meters away from the gypsy, a short walk across the grass lawn. Our gypsy wagon can sleep 2 adults plus one small child in one bed

Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Relaxing rural retreat on the town boundary

Relax and unwind in your own private guest suite and enjoy the rural views. With its own entrance and lock box you can arrive when it suits. The property is in a convenient location, just a 6 minute drive from the town centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, dairy, take away and pub within a 3 minute drive. There is ample off road parking that can accommodate larger vehicles, horse floats, boats and trailers etc. The airport is 9k away and Oreti Beach just a little further along.

Old farm hut, near Winton , Central Southland

Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We have baby lambs skipping around the paddocks lots of fun to watch from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket,choice of places to eat or takeaway. A great spot in central Southland 2 hr Queenstown, 45 min Invercargill, 1hr 10 Te Anau, 35 m

Riviera Shack

Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

The Whimsical Studio is a light, spacious and private wee haven. Fully self-contained with a larger bathroom, awesome shower and a well equipped kitchen. Surrounded by nature with a covered deck and cute courtyard to enjoy the beautiful outlook across the paddocks towards Taramea Bay & beyond. We have an array of birdlife to observe and a resident Kereru. By night stargazing is easy with the wide open sky while listening to the creek, the sea, frogs & morepork.

Hi there and welcome to our new slice of heaven on the coast and on the doorstep of the Catlins Rainforest National Park. ‘Tiroroa’ is our barn style property, completed late 2019. It is perched on the hill overlooking Porpoise and Curio Bay sitting on its own hectare of land. We are the southern most Airbnb property on mainland New Zealand … next stop Antarctica!
