There isn’t anything shabby about this shabby chic 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage! There is a full kitchen along with a microwave and coffee maker. All linens and towels are included. A large wall mounted TV and Sirius XM in the cottage. Also a back deck for morning coffee and relaxation! Located in the heart of Blue Hill village. Walking distance to Art gallery’s, coffee shops,Blue Hill Library, Blue Hill book store, fine dining and the town park! Also, Kneisel Hall is just a short ride where you can hear beautiful Chamber music! Take a day hike or a quick hike through Parker point trail to the local grocery store, go kayaking on Blue Hill bay or take a drive to Acadia National Park for the day. This is the perfect spot to experience Down East Maine, the way life should be! Nearby towns include Stonington, Deer Isle,Ellsworth,Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park,Castine, Camden, Brooklin Belfast, as well as many other quintessential coastal towns! Just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous Lamoine Beach and Lamoine State Park, and a quick drive to Marlborough Beach and Blunts Pond (an amazing local swimming hole!). Nestled in the quiet side of the Mount Desert Island woods just a short walk to Bass Harbor and the closest lodging to Bass Harbor Head Light and the Ship Harbor and Wonderland hiking trails in beautiful Acadia National Park are the Lighthouse Cabins. These cabins feature almost 400 square feet of living space with kitchenette, dining area and private bathroom. Amenities include: Air Conditioner, electric fireplace, Keurig, Microwave/Air Fryer, refrigerator/freezer, 50" TV and high speed wifi.

Welcome to The Osprey Nest! Our riverside retreat is a classic Maine camp turned family run B&B / super cozy rental. It’s our 11th season! We are open June thru September. We book ONE party per stay. The whole place is yours. Dreamy! Our high season rate is $300 nightly based on a 2 person occupancy with breakfast staples for “self serve”. This rate now appears as $355 with the 15.5% airbnb fees included in the host price. What is not included is the 9% ME state tax or the $200 cleaning.

Finding Joy

This lovely apartment is above our garage. You can come and go as you please. We have created a place for peace and solitude. Sit on the deck or look out the dining room window and see the woods and wait for the birds and wildlife that may be wonder through the yard. There is coffee and tea available, along with basic breakfast supplies, if you wish. Keyless entry allows for you to come anytime after check-in. Please note, you have to be comfortable with stairs to access the apartment.

The Nest - Cozy En-suite 2 Bed/2 Bath

The cabin is tucked into the woods providing opportunities for all day wildlife and bird watching. It feels secluded but is minutes away from Belfast, Lincolnville and Camden. We are a little over an hour to Acadia National Park and two hours from Baxter State Park (Mount Katahdin highest mountain in Maine). The cabin is extremely cozy and has well supplied kitchen. There are several outside seating areas with fire pits and a screen porch for a”morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.

Bar Harbor Suite Under The Eaves

Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

The Cottage at the McCobb House

Freshly renovated inside and out, the cottage is your private Maine camp. Located on an acre and a half of wooded grounds, and surrounded by forest, the cottage feels secluded, but it’s only a mile to the restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions of bustling Boothbay Harbor. With hiking trails in the Pine Tree Preserve that adjoins the property and the Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve a five minute walk up the road, you can also explore nature and enjoy the solitude of the woods.

The Barnacle in Mid-Coast Maine

The Barnacle is a converted 1800's barn that is our guest house. It's rustic, cozy, and only 50 yards from the water and Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park. It's a perfect location to explore Mid-Coast Maine! Amenities: Breakfast items, beverages, coffee, tandem & single kayak, 2 bikes, pool table, dart board, games & movies! NOTE: The barn isn't insulated therefore it's IMPOSSIBLE to be spotless. Dust or bugs WILL appear.
