Cosy old retro house built around 1890. A pocket of time experience. Located in the most narrow street in Sandavagur. This old village with the Runar Stone and Red Roof Church, is perfect for at stay, only 10min from the Vagar airport and 30min drive to Tórshavn There is also a café "Fiskastykkið" in the village. The village is perfect for hiking as well.

The house is situated in the middle of the Viking village of Kvívík. Even though the house itself is from early 1800s, the interior is just recently refurnished. It is a perfect place to settle down, relax and breathe in the calmness and history of the Faroe Islands. It is 3-4 km from Leynarvatn – the most popular salmon fishing lake of the Faroe Islands.

It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
