Barrack by the Rock -A heritage home

The Barrack is part of a 130-year-old family estate, just off the Mall Road, Mussoorie. It is a standalone structure, flanked by massive, millennia-old, Himalayan rock features that give this home its uniqueness. The Barrack was recently renovated and re-decorated and now offers guest all the modern amenities and appliances needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors are modern and tasteful . The cottage is within a Kiwi and Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. We have Airtel wifi. There is private parking available for 2 cars. From the parking spot to the cottage, there is a gradual walk of about 90 meters. This walk is inside our orchard and not on the road. We have a caretaker and staff on the property to cook for you.

It is a one bedroom luxurious cottage with patio and lawn. Nested in foothills of Mussoorie and surrounded by litchi orchard. It is a perfect leisure destination for peace loving people. There is a stream flowing on 5 minutes walk . You can also enjoy long walk through salwood jungle. In winter you will enjoy the place as it remains sunny throughout the day. There is another similar cottage on side of it in the same plot but you do have your privacy.

We have various places of interest in our vicinity - Shedup Choephelling Buddhist Temple, Fox's Hill, Pine Forest (Khanalti), Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, Katesar Palace, Company Garden, George Everest Observatory Ruins (Hathipaon) and The Tibetan Homes Foundation. We also offer home cooked meals on order basis. We are a couple friendly destination. Pets are not allowed.
