With gorgeous mountain views, large outdoors, birdwatching, hikes, and modern amenities, this place is for tranquility and slowness. You must walk 10 minutes to get here. There is a climb back. Read by large bay windows, cozy up by the bukharis, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, stargaze. We are secluded, and you will experience the wilderness. A 10min walk down from the road or a 3 minute trek, you need to be mildly adventurous and fit to get here. Shops are a 2minute drive or 15minute walk.

We have a warm and dependable caretaker-cum-cook and a helpful assistant, both are like family to us and make sure every guest feels at home.

Lal Kothi is chef Sameer Sewak & his family's home in countryside Dehradun. It is surrounded table top views of Mussoorie hills, Tons river, Sal forests. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes.
