In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

Drummond Island - Whits End Boathouse

Welcome to Whit’s End on beautiful Drummond Island! We are excited to share our boathouse with you here in the historic Whitney Bay area. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to Loons and watching nearby freighters navigate Lake Huron. The sunsets over Whitney Bay are truly spectacular. The living space is located on the second floor of our renovated boathouse. We run a small pottery shop on the main level, so you may notice occasional activity during the day.

We're just 10 miles south of downtown Munising - the gateway to Pictured Rocks; we're surrounded by hundreds of miles of roads and trails which boast amazing fall colors; and we're just 3 miles away, as the crow flies, from the Buckhorn Resort and snowmobile Trail 7. Our location is perfect for playing year round!

Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.
