Leac Na Sith, a cottage on the beach

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area please see photos), sleeps 5, private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, log burner, oil central heating, sea and castle views. Just outside the Scottish National Park and 6mins walk from the sea is Cedarbank Studio's Yewtree Cottage. A one bedroomed cottage full of art. We have seven artists and they all offer lessons. Sitting in its own garden, Yewtree offers more than just an Airbnb experience. It's an opportunity to get outside and enjoy Argyll, learn something new or just do your own thing. It's a cosy little base - which we hope you'll enjoy calling home while you visit Argyll.​

Doonbank Cottage Bothy

Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden on the banks of the River Doon , it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

The Snug is a cosy wee detached holiday cottage tucked up a quite lane - a peaceful retreat. There's a comfy bedroom with king-sized bed, and a sofa bed in the living area, making it the ideal space for couples or small families (pets welcome too!). There's a lovely shingle beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep - the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.

This traditional 18th-century detached gatehouse is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It offers an ideal holiday base to relax or explore the surrounding area. Situated close to the city of Glasgow, Peel Lodge is only 20 mins by train from the city centre, 30 miles away is Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Ayrshire. Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Shop, pub/restaurant 1 mile.
