The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). Two bedroom second floor apartment. An easy 7 minute drive to Mount Desert Island, and 17 minute drive to Acadia National Park’s, Hulls Cove visitor center, 22 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. In the other direction, an easy 10 minute drive to Ellsworth, 29 minutes to Newbury Neck Beach, 30 minutes to Blue Hill. The perfect place to return to get away from the crowds and unwind after a day of exploring. Monthly discount will only be accepted when requesting to book months November through May.

This oceanfront property is located in Bar Harbor, Maine just minutes form Acadia National Park. This is nestled on the coast and was once part of an artist colony. While enjoying this property you will see many seals sunbathing on the rocks just out your front door. This home is 1 mile down a private road and surrounded by 100 acres of trails. It is truly a magical place. There are kayaks available at the cabin for a small fee. Complete the waiver and pay owners upon arrival.

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.

It has all the modern amenities you need for a perfect stay near Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The cabin is ideal for 4 guests and 1 dog is permitted. For added guests - there is a fully equipped RV pad with hookups (50 amp, water, sewer) available for an additional fee. This is a shared lot with a second home occupied by the owners.
