The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our shepherd's hut has many attractions on its doorstep with spectacular views of Snowdonia and the coast of Caernarfon bay. The hut is situated in the historical village of Clynnogfawr, centrally located between Pwllheli and Caernarfon. The stunning beaches on the Llyn Peninsula is only 20 minutes drive away. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Nestled between the mountains and the sea is Gwêl y Sêr (see the stars). A beautiful cabin where you can switch off and listen to the sounds of nature. On dark nights in winter the milky way can be seen from outside, hence the name. The cabin is located in a central spot in North Wales, we are 2 miles from the closest beach and 1 mile from the mountains. We are also in a central location for access to both zipworlds, as well as close distance to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.
