Location next to village road doesn't bother those coming from cities and in return, you have a lake view and a natural sandy beach, where to follow northern day and year go by. After an active day, relax in the warmth of fireplace, sauna or hot pool. Or on the beach, around the campfire, where you can whisper your thoughts into the dark star studded night, when everything around you is still.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Summer cabin at Miekojärvi

Are you looking for a traditional Finnish summer cottage and its authentic atmosphere? Do you want to enjoy pure nature next to great hiking trails and swimming and fishing waters? This cottage is located in a quiet location on the shore of Miekojärvi, approx. 80 km from Rovaniemi. The cottage is only for summer use and is equipped with practical and functional equipment, although it does not offer luxury. The cottage yard includes a cottage, a smoke sauna and a composting outdoor toilet.

Experience the calm beauty of Lapland in a bright and cosy cabin overlooking Lake Miekojärvi. Here, time slows, the air is clear, and nature is always close. Each cabin offers panoramic lake views, a private outdoor hot tub, designed for rest, warmth, and connection. Just an hour from Rovaniemi Airport, Tyven is where silence feels real and every season brings its own magic: northern lights in winter, endless light in summer, calm reflections on still water or snowy magical landscapes.

Hyvin varusteltu mökki järven rannassa

Päärakennuksessa keittiö, ruokailutila ja olohuone. Erillinen wc, jossa varusteluna pyykkikone ja kuivuri sekä sähkösauna ja suihkutila, jossa myös wc-istuin. Kaksi makuuhuonetta (molemmissa parivuode), parvi, jossa vuodesohva (120x200) sekä tarvittaessa 2 lisävuodetta. Lisäksi päärakennuksessa ulkokautta oleva käynti yläkerrassa olevaan lisä huoneeseen, jossa kaksi vuodetta sekä nojatuolit ja pieni jääkaappi 2 kahdelle. Pihassa myös ulkosauna ja lasitettu grillikota. Laituri rannassa.

Idyllinen pieni saunallinen hirsimökki lammen rannalla. Ekologinen mökki sijaitsee lähellä paikallistietä, mutta silti omassa rauhassaan. Voit nähdä sään salliessa revontulet omalta pihalta, sekä tavata pohjoisen eläimiä kuten oravan, poron tai jäniksen. Sijaitsee noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä luonnonkauniissa pienessä kylässä. Huskysafareita talvella vain parin minuutin päässä. Kohde sopii sinulle joka arvostat luonnon rauhaa. Sopii mökkeilyyn ympäri vuoden.

HUOM! LIINAVAATTEET EIVÄT SISÄLLY VUOKRAAN, saa erikseen tilata 18€/setti Mökki on sähköistetty ja parvellinen. Siinä on 4 vuodepaikkaa: alakerrassa kaksi levitettävää vuodesohvaa, lisäksi parvella on vuodepaikka. Rannassa on sauna ja sen edessä terassi, jossa pöytä ja tuolit. Lisäksi on huvimaja, jossa on takka ja puuhella. Ulkona on wc. Vene käytettävissä, hiiligrilli löytyy terassilta. Juomavesi haetaan luonnon lähteestä, jossa on maailman paras ja kirkas vesi.

Night at the Bearhillhusky kennel! Heat the sauna, swim in the lake and relax in the hot tub! The traditional wood heated sauna offers you a gentle experience into the finnish sauna culture. The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

The Arctic Home Vietonen

The Arctic Home Vietosella pääsee lomailemaan keskelle upeaa Lapin luontoa. Hiljaisuus, mäntyjen humina sekä kaunis, alati muuttuva järvimaisema rentouttavat ja kutsuvat hidastamaan. Lapin neljä ainutlaatuista vuodenaikaa mahdollistaa erilaisia aktiviteetteja luonnon helmassa, kuten lumileikit talvella, pilkkiminen keväällä, uiminen raikkaassa vedessä kesällä ja syksyllä sekä patikointia ympäri vuoden. Mökistä löytyy kaikki tarpeellinen viihtyisään lomaan.

Cottage at Rattosjoki

A peaceful small house by a gentle river. The house has two bedrooms and is equipped with all modern amenities, including an electric sauna for guests’ use. The location is quiet and private, about a one-hour drive from Rovaniemi. The large yard offers plenty of space for children to play. Northern Lights are commonly visible in the area. The property also features an outdoor sauna and a hot tub, available for an additional fee and heated separately.

Erillismökki omassa rauhassa kahden suuren järven välisellä lompololla. Omaa rantaviivaa yli puoli kilometriä. Kylältä löytyy porotila sekä husky- ja moottorikelkkasafareiden järjestäjä . Molemmat perheyrittäjiä, joissa palvelu pelaa. Eikä kaukana ole kesät talvet käytössä oleva viralliset vaatimukset täyttävä frisbeegolf ratakaan ( noin 14 km päässä osoitteessa Airijärventie 108 nykyisin 18-reikäinen metsässä ja kallioilla kulkeva rata).
