Uncommon Bear Cabin-Packwood/White Pass/Mt Rainier

Cabin accommodates 6 people comfortably with a private bedroom, semi-private loft (upstairs), and sleeper sofa. The living area has a large stone fireplace, games & movies, streaming apps and fully stocked kitchen. High speed internet and WiFi. The bathroom has a shower, dual sinks, toilet, and basic grooming necessities. Cabin is on a forested acre with fire pit and river access, and conveniently located near the best outdoor recreation: Mt. Rainier, skiing, hiking, fishing, and sightseeing!

Our beautiful guest cabin is an ideal home base for your Lake Cle Elum getaway. With 2 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen), you are provided with a spacious destination for a family or 2 couples. (A twin sofa bed is available upon request). You are a block from Speelyi beach on Lake Cle Elum and steps away from hikes/walks. The little historic mining town of Roslyn, home to shops & restaurants, is a short 10 minute drive away. *A new 2nd bathroom (half bath)/laundry room can be shared - pls inquire.

Historical White Pass Ticket Booth Packwood

This is the original White Pass Ski Resort ticket booth, then lifty shack, and finally wax room, built in the 1950's, when White Pass first opened. It became somewhat run down and put out of service, but was rescued by a Packwoodian with vision. It was hauled down from White Pass on a flatbed truck, where it was given a new metal roof, insulation, rough-hewn cedar and corrugated metal interior walls. With log bunkbeds, rocking chairs, cozy blankets, it's a snug abode for skiers and hikers!

Custom built in 2020 by host with lots of handmade wood accents for that mountain feeling. Come to hike, fish, ski or just relax. Twenty minutes to the Stevens Canyon entrance to Mt. Rainier and twenty-five minutes White Pass Ski area. The quaint little town of Packwood is just 5 minutes away with restaurants, grocery and a brewery. The cabin is nestled in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood and fast cable Wi-Fi. Walk to Skate Creek. Short hike to Skate Creek Park.

Relax in a peaceful setting in the foothills outside of Yakima. Large great room to sit in front of gas stove after skiing, hiking, fishing or kayaking in the nearby rivers and mountains.
