Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Our fully renovated three bedroom Cottage on the picturesque Maragle Creek provides the perfect location for resting, walking, birdwatching, fishing and platypus viewing. Visit Tumbarumba Rail Trail,Paddy's River Falls, Hume & Hovell Trackheads, Sculpture Trail,Southern Cloud Lookout, Mt Selwyn Snowfield & Upper Murray drives. Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Welcome to "The Den on Diamond Drive". "The Den” is a quiet & comfortable apartment. There is a large 65" smart TV, Xbox, Netflix & free wi-fi. Comfortable (guest reviews concur) & warm beds, block out blinds so you can sleep in late. Queen, double & trundle single. Plenty of wardrobe space with extra pillows/blankets/towels. The leather lounges are great for lazing around, watching TV or reading. Cards, board games & reading material will ensure there is something to occupy everyone.

An ideal base if your interest is the snow or brilliant in the warmer months if you like to swim or fish for the legendary murray cod. Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests . Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

The cottage is fully self contained from the main house .You will have your own private BBQ and sitting area to enjoy during your stay. We are only a short drive to Beechworth and Yackandandah . Ideally located to visit all the historic surrounding areas.

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.
