Porter Beach has amazing sand and views of Lake Michigan. There can be crazy riptides so be careful when swimming.

Located inside of Indiana Dunes National Park. Enjoy the sunshine and waves. Go swimming, get a tan, or bring an umbrella and sit under the shade. Chicago skyline is visible! Beautiful beach and water. Ocean- like experience but with fresh water.

Great beach on Wabash Ave in Porter, Indiana that is part of the Dunes but a little easier to get to. In the summer get there at 8:00am to get the free parking spots before the lots are full. Otherwise, it's around $30-40 to park in the overflow lot. Bring your own food, drinks. No alcohol allowed. This is a Lake Michigan beach near the Indiana Dunes with car/bike parking & bathrooms, but no lifeguards.
