Dive bar. No really. And it's great for it. Live music often, up on some strange stage at the end of the bar. Outdoor seating too, through the back. Cash only, or least it certainly seems it.

This is my absolute favorite bar. Very local, non-pretentious crowd of all ages, and FANTASTIC music. Try the dark Point Beer when it's on tap. Great patio, and hosts a summer music festival

Voted one of the Best Bars in America (Esquire). Dive + Live Music. This bar is one of my favorites in Minneapolis- nothing quite like it.
