This family pub is a walkers paradise! Situated above the village of Askerswell, this interesting old smuggler's inn, said to be haunted, dates back to 1845 when it was first licensed. Nestling in beautiful countryside, the rear beer garden provides magnificent views, stunning scenery and a beautiful family area to relax in the sun. There is a varied menu and a large range of beers. There is a large parking area and open 7 days a week. It is very near to Eggardon Hill if you fancy a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The Spyway Inn is our nearest pub. The food is standard pub food but the garden is beautiful- Its a perfect garden for children

Great food in a lovely atmosphere. In the small village of Askerswell, 6 miles from The Lodge. Views of both sea and countryside surrounding. Pub garden with lots of outdoor seating.
