The Lotz House Museum, open to the public and in a historic home that stands on the battlefield of Franklin, features the largest and most comprehensive collection of War Between the States and Old West artifacts in the Mid-South.

If you are only able to see one of the three homes central to the battle of Franklin, I recommend Lotz. This tour covers all the major points of interest from the battle to the personal stories of those who were caught in the crossfire. They also house the most artifacts from the battle field. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and are able to seamlessly accept new guests as they arrive while tours are already in progress. Check Groupon for discounted tickets.
