The Wrekin is an iconic Shropshire hill located near Telford. The wooded ridge offers a challenging but manageable climb and beautiful natural surroundings. Very popular with walkers and fantastic views from the summit. Can get very busy, especially at weekends. 40 mins

Local place of interest with fantastic views at the top. The climb is not too strenuous and great for families. Warning: the car park can get quite full.

The Wrekin is a hill in east Shropshire, England. It is located some five miles west of Telford, on the border between the unitary authorities of Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin.
