This place is a bit far but worth to go to if you like creative alternative places. North is upcoming and around this place are also other bars and shops popping up. Perfect if you have a bike. You can go here by taking the pond from central station to buiksloterweg(this is free). This Is also a nice way to discover some hidden places of Amsterdam.

Everything about Café de Ceuvel is special and sustainable: from the hammocks on the veranda, to the seats on the boat deck. Not only is De Ceuvel’s kitchen organic, but its kitchen waste is composted to create a mix which is used as fertiliser for fruit trees on the property. And as a final touch, the building itself is constructed out of multiple old houseboats.

Cafe de ceuvel is part of a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and artists with a green heart, who have single-handedly helped build their workplaces in Amsterdam's first circular office park. The site contains creative workplaces, a cultural center around sustainability, a café-restaurant, spaces for rental and a floating hotel!
