Zaros, a mountainous small town with about 2,000 inhabitants. If we still have some time to recoil and small folklore museum of Zaros. After Zaro the road continues, so at 5 km. "Zaros" in Greek means a place with a lot of water. Around the lake there are several restaurants and cafes, where visitors can relax and taste trout and salmon or they can even have a picnic around!

About 20 min drive from Choustouliana there is this beautiful village, very picturesque famous for its mineral water ! You can have a coffee or ice cream by the lake or even choose to eat good traditional cretan food at the hotel Elaionas of Zaros , where sometimes you might see a live music band and creatan dancing
