Burr Oak State Park is also a nice place to hike. About 30 min. from our cabins. The Lodge has a nice restaurant, overlooking part of the lake. There is a beach and boat rentals, etc on the other side of the lake, 45 minutes or so.

Lodge offers beautiful scenic vistas of the lake and delicious locally procured smoked brisket at an affordable price! Best time to go is for lunch or dinner - but they offer a full breakfast too. Full bar and plenty of other tasty entrees to choose from. Very convenient - it is only 12 minutes away!
