숙소와 가까우며교목원, 관목원, 약용·식용원, 희귀 특산 수종원, 만목원, 화목원, 도외수종원, 죽림원, 초본원, 수생식물원 등 전문수종원 10개원과 온실, 양묘전시포, 삼림욕장, 시청각실, 휴게실, 체력단련시설, 편의시설 등이 갖추어져 있다.수생식물원에는 수련·마름·부들 등 수종 27종이 살고 있고, 온실에는 국내 한 그루뿐인 초령목과 희귀식물인 만년콩, 천지연에서만 사는 죽절초를 비롯해 아열대온실에 110종, 자생온실에 140종, 증식온실에 60종의 식물이 자라고 있다. 삼림욕장에는 오름 정상까지 오를 수 있는 1.7㎞의 산책로가 있다. 입장료는 무료이며 관람시간은 오전4시~오후 23시이다.
