Explore the oldest operational lighthouse in the world. Voted one of Ireland’s favourite attractions, Hook Lighthouse in Wexford is truly one of a kind. Purpose built 800 years ago by Knight William Marshal, take a step back in time and enjoy a guided tour hearing tales of medieval times and life as a light keeper. 60 Minutes drive from Hunters Lodge.

Wild and beautiful, this is the one of the must see places in Wexford also visit Tintern Abbey and Loftus hall on return journey. There is a pirate ship playarea and lookout point for great photos. Or take a walk out along the cliff path and spot the seals. On return trip the garage in Wellington bridge has huge 99s. You can book an outside tour with a guide

Lovely to explore the rugged coastline and the historic lighthouse. Drive past Loftus Hall Haunted Mansion which is located close by. Both locations are approx 25km / 30km away from your stay.
