Sandspit is a 4 mile stretch of beach with great views of Morro Rock and Estero Bay. Fun surfing, beach combing, and birding here.

This beach is on the way to Montana de Oro. It is part of the Morro Bay State Park. There is a longish walk on a path from the parking area. No lifeguards here! A nice stretch to do a long quiet walk or jog in either direction! It is popular for surfing, shore fishing, and horseback riding.
