All around the year and 3 times a week: One of the oldest and probably most beautiful markets in Germany is the weekly market (Wochenmarkt) in Mainz. In the middle of the old city center on the picturesque cathedral squares, it is a great place to shop, stroll and enjoy. And just a few minutes walking distance from the appartment! Grab a bag and get your fresh vegetables, fruits and some of the typically regional foods for the week:)
