A walk on the external pier of the Port of Catania in a clear day gives you the chance of appreciating the size of the entire cone of Mount Etna towering on the city! Some bars and cafes are open inside the Port area during the day. Avoid the evening ones instead: too many people, mostly suburban teens in search of cheap alcohol, with the usual consequences you can imagine.
