The Roman aqueduct, a trademark of Kavala, along with its castle, crosses it as a backbone, as it rises imposing in front of the visitor, which faces it with awe. Enlightened at night, sparkles imagination as it carries historical memories instead of water.

The Byzantine Aqueduct is the landmark of the city and was built on the 16th century.It is worth visited though the day but do not miss it in the night!

The old aqueduct in the city center is a unique monument of the 16th century, 270m long and 25m tall. It was used until the beginning of the 20th century to carry the water into the old town of Kavala. It is probably the most important and well known monument of the city.

Παλαιό Υδραγωγείο Παλαιό Υδραγωγείο Καμάρες Καβάλας βρίσκεται στο τόπο Καβάλα Καμάρες Καβάλας Καμάρες Καβάλας ΞεκινάΠαλιά Καβάλα ΚαταλήγειΠαναγία (Παλαιά Πόλη) Το Παλαιό Υδραγωγείο, γνωστό και ως Καμάρες, είναι ένα καλά διατηρημένο υδραγωγείο στην πόλη της Καβάλας και είναι ένα από τα ορόσημα της πόλης. Ενώ το υδραγωγείο είναι πιθανώς ρωμαϊκής προέλευσης, η σημερινή δομή χρονολογείται στον 16ο αιώνα. Ένα βυζαντινό τείχος των αρχών του 14ου αιώνα, που χτίστηκε ως μέρος των οχυρώσεων στην ακρόπολη της Καβάλας, πιθανότατα λειτουργούσε και ως υδραγωγείο.
