Go on a hike at the lake nestled in the forest :) This lake usually isn't as crowded as other popular spots and it provides truly breathtaking views. Great for photo ops or leaving the phone in the car all together and decompressing in the woods.

Just finally went here last year to see the waterfall. WOW. Long drive to get there and you finally park and walk a short path and bam... there it is. Beautiful There are places to hike also but we did not do that on this day. You follow Fallen Leaf Lake Rd to the south end of the lake and then just a little more west around the bend to get there.

A secluded lake with hiking trails and very few tourists. This is an easy drive and you will avoid traffic that heads out to Camp Richardson!

Beach, hiking, amazing waterfall. Fallen Leaf Lake is a wonderful 1/2 day trip. An Alpine Lake tucked away from the main roads. Awesome experience.
