The Reynolda House Museum of American Art displays a premiere collection of American art ranging from the colonial period to the present. Built in 1967.
Completed in 1917 as a private residence on over 1,000 acres; today is a public institution dedicated to arts and education with a permanent collection of American art and sculpture from three centuries. Of the original 'village' buildings 28 of 30 remain and are now occupied by boutiques and restaurants. Formal gardens available for tour in season.
